Volunteers

Service Hour Program

As a part of life at St. Paul Lutheran School, all families are expected to volunteer their time and talents during the school year.  Without that support and dedication to the children, many of the opportunities and experiences our children have at St. Paul would not be possible.

  • Two-parent families are expected to volunteer 20 hours per year.  Single- parent families are expected to give 10 service hours.  All Pre-K families are asked to give 8 hours a year.

  • Service hours may be contributed to St. Paul Lutheran School or through activities involving children at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

  • There are many areas in which to earn Service Hours.  Contact the SPS Service Coordinators or the SPS handbook for ideas.

  • Families are expected to log their hours in the school office in the online Service Hour Log.

  • Families will receive written notice at the end of each quarter informing them of the hours they have contributed and logged.

  • Families who have difficulty fulfilling their Service Hour obligation will need to contact the school principal.
