Hours & Rates

Hours of Operation: Monday- Friday from 7:00 am to 8:15 am. We reopen at Noon until 6:00 pm every day school is open. Extended Care is closed for all school holidays and on half days our noon-6 pm care is closed. Morning care will be open as usual.

2013-2014 Rates/Fees:

Registration Fee: $80.00 non-refundable fee will be charged per family

Monthly: Early Birds: 7:00 – 8:15 am $100.00

Lucky Ducks Noon – 3:30 pm $310:00

Busy Bees 3:30 – 6:00 pm $190.00

Combination 11:30 – 6:00 pm $500.00

Billing for the monthly rate will begin in September and run through June. These monthly rates are pro-rated for the entire school year, therefore, we ask that you not change back and forth from the monthly to the hourly rate during the year.

Drop-Ins: $6.50 per hour with reservations & $13.50 per hour without. Hourly pays are billed at the end of each month. Drop-in services are provided for those who do not need Extended Care on a regular basis, but need the services occasionally. A 24 hour reservation notice is needed to ensure proper child/staff ratios and this can be done by call (817-332-2281 x 113) or e-mailing (susan.austin@stplcfw.org) the director.

Extra Fees: Basketball 3:30 – 5 pm $9.00 per day

Snack Fee: (3:30 – 6pm only) $50 per child/per semester Our goal is to provide a healthy snack for the children every afternoon. Should your child be allergic to any food, please make sure the director is aware of this allergy.

Lunches: Hot Lunches ($3.50 see SPLS for menu), Milk (.60/carton) and 8th Grade Pizza Lunch ($3.00 served twice a month on Wednesdays) are available.

Late Payment Fee: After the 15th of each month, $10.00 late fee will be added to your account.

Late Charges: $1.00 per minute per family will be added to you bill for children picked up after 6 pm

Payments: Due by the 15th of the month. Please mark in the memo section of your check "D/C" along with the invoice # to make sure your check is deposited in the correct account. Your check or money order shall serve as receipt for payment unless otherwise requested.

Credit for Absences: No credit for absences.

Failure to Make Payment: Account must remain current in order for your child to stay in Extended Care. In extenuating circumstances arrangements need to be made with the Director. 

Return Check Fee: $15.00 charge is added to your account. All returned checks must be paid in cash. After two returned checks, your account will be on a cash basis only.

Arrival and Departures:

Early Birds: (7 am-8:15 am) Meet in the art room. Please don't leave children unattended, as the doors for school will remain locked until 8:15 am.

Lucky Ducks: (Noon-3:30 pm) Meet in the PK classroom, located on the lower level under the breezeway.

Busy Bees: (3:30 – 6 pm) Meet in the lunch room for snack, go to playground or homework room and then will finish in the room, located on the lower lever under the breezeway, at the door marked "After School Care.”

Please Note: When picking up children after school, a sign will be hung in the "After School Care” room to let you know where your children are. (playground, gym, or New Life Center)

Sign-Out: Parents must come into the room to sign the child out and retrieve his/her belongings. Should someone other than the parent need to pick up your child/children, the parents will need to send a note to the Director stating the name of the person picking up their child/children and approximate time they will be coming. It will be necessary to present their drivers' license as proper identification before the child/children will be released. Please be sure they are will informed of our policy so they can have proper identification with them. Even if the pick-up person is on your list, your child will still need a written note to be released. 

Holidays: Extended Care Program will follow the St. Paul Lutheran School calendar and will close on all days indicated in the school's calendar. This will include the 1/2 days of school.

Bad Weather Days: The Principal is authorized to declare emergency closings or delays if, in his judgment, weather or road conditions or other circumstances warrant such a decision. All school and day care staff members and families will be notified by listening to 820 AM WBAP radio and local TV news for the announcement of St. Paul Lutheran School closing.
