Philosophy

The St. Paul Lutheran Extended Care Program is based upon the recognition of the developmental nature of child’s growth. The curriculum emphasizes the truths of the Bible and reinforces parents as spiritual leaders while offering opportunities for creative expression, constructive play, social and emotional interaction, communication skills, physical development, practice in reasoning, and responsibility. We believe the primary area in which learning takes place is play. Children learn by doing. Self-esteem and individuality are nurtured while providing children with a sense of belonging and acceptance.

Mission Statement

The St. Paul Lutheran Extended Care Program provides part-time, affordable, and convenient child care for students of St. Paul Lutheran School. The program provides a loving, Christian environment designed to be developmentally appropriate for children ages 4 years to 8th grade, as well as a supportive environment for parents.
