 The Story Resumes!

ALL adult Sunday morning classes are studying The Story. God goes to great lengths to rescue lost and hurting people. That is what The Story is all about -- the story of the Bible, God's great love affair with humanity.
Condensed into 31 accessible chapters, The Story sweeps you into the the unfolding progression of Bible characters and events from Genesis to Revelation. Chapter 14 will be discussued on January 13th.
Not only that, but to help you engage in the story, we will have 5 different types of classes studying the text from different perspectives and life stages:
Young Couples
In this class you will study along with the rest of the congregation but will pay attention to aspects of the Biblical narrative that speak to relationships the good, the bad, and the ugly. Upper Classroom A-50.
'Parenting' Through the Story
There are many lessons parents can learn from the mistakes and achievements of families in scripture. You will study along with the rest of the congregation but pay special attention to topics and thoughts that you can discuss and re-enforce with your children and strengthen your family. Upper Classroom A-58
Traveling with the Master
This class will focus on the narratives of the story along with the congregation and allow for more group discussion and interaction with the text as your learn what God's word has to teach. Upper Classroom A-54.
Getting Into The Story
In this class we will look at the narrative of scripture and spend time learning from God's word. This class will be a mixture of lecture, study, and group discussion. New Life Center.
Ascend College Bible Study
Come to the SMO to study The Story with other students from various colleges in the area. Breakfast and caffeine provided!
