Blue Ribbon School

St. Paul Lutheran School was designated by the U.S. Secretary of Education, Margaret Spellings, as a 2006 NCLB-Blue Ribbon School.

Less than one-half of one percent of our nation's schools receive this prestigious honor annually.

St. Paul was chosen as one out of 280 public and private schools, one out of 50 private schools, one out of ten private schools in the state of Texas, and one out of three Lutheran schools to recieve this honor.

The Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes schools that make significant progress in closing the achievement gap or whose students achieve at very high levels. St. Paul was selected based upon its students achieving in the top 10 percent of the nation on nationally-normed achievement tests.

St. Paul is proud of its students accomplishments and the high quality of teaching that goes on daily in the classrooms.
